Support Your Local

Today we start our series "Support Local" in response to the current CV19 situation. Over the next 14 days we will publish a beautiful image from each of the small bars & restaurants who host us so graciously on our inner city dining walks.

New Player | The Cat's Meow

New Player | The Cat's Meow

The good news is Oxford Street, Darlinghurst is starting to feel like it’s old self again, pre-lockouts. And with that in mind we are moving things up and beginning our Darlo evenings at new-comer The Cat's Meow for our pre-dining walk cocktail spot!

New Player | Bon Vin

New Player | Bon Vin

Meet the newest addition to our Darlinghurst Dining Walk.
We first discovered Bon Vin in a hidden laneway of East Sydney totally by accident, whilst out on the town in Darlo with friends one winters night. On a brisk Sydney evening the idea of descending into a subterranean cellar was very appealing, when the lovely waiter standing outside, invited us inside.

New Player | Son of Frank

New Player | Son of Frank

Meet our newest addition to our Darlinghurst Dining Walk. Son of Frank strikes that elusive balance between the surprising and familiar. Anthony Canturi formerly of Cho Cho San, The Apollo and Eau De Vie owns the venue with his brother Jonathon, and describes the food as “Italian-ish”.

Our second stop for Crafty Dining in East Sydney was the very contemporary Stylecraft, stockists of 70% Australian designed & made furniture and homeware. We indulged in delicious mushroom arancini from Toki Italian Inspired located just around the corner on Crown Street.

Where our guests were introduced to the gallery space by Director Lisa Cahill and her team. Featuring a couple of exhibitions including entries in the Profile 2019: Contemporary Jewellery and Object Award.

Brown Paper Wine

Brown Paper Wine

Brown Paper Wine is the creation of Richard Powell, his mates call him all sorts of names: Richie, Dick, and many more colourful monikers. We first met when he supplied wines for a Surry Hills Creative Precinct function we attended a year ago. His passion and joy in introducing people to good wine was evident from the moment he poured us a glass.

Style Craft x Toki Italian

Style Craft x Toki Italian

In a past life we worked in the interior design business, selling furniture, ceramics and glassware to interior designers and their clients. When your in an industry you always want to know who your competitors are and what they are up to. So Stylecraft was on our radar and never failed to impress with it’s modern approach and vast showroom on Liverpool Street.
