Our latest special event is part of Sparkling Sydney - a food and wine festival happening in Pyrmont, celebrating all there is to love about Australian gastronomy & amazing sparkling wines! We kick-off our inner-city dining experience at the new and shiny Aiden Hotel, with our prerequisite cocktail and delicious bar food in the fabulous snug downstairs bar with a view of Murray Street nightlife. During the 1930s - when Pyrmont was a major part of the working harbour - this building was the home of the Colonial Sugar Refining Company (CSR). In transforming the building into a soulful and sophisticated boutique hotel the owners have carefully kept the original bricks, features and framework from its rich history, whilst introducing a contemporary design.

We kick off our Euro themed dining walk at the newly renovated Essenza Italian, which is located on the corner of Crown & Devonshire streets in the J Grocer building built in 1912, offers a contemporary Italian dinner menu that is constantly evolving, showcasing local produce with a twist. The wine list is predominately Italian varietal grapes, transporting you to Tuscany with every sip.
Last month's dining walk with various media guests of Eastside Sydney was epic! We kicked-off at Ovolo Woolloomooloo with a sneak peak behind the scenes and front of house of Trip Advisor's current No 1 hotel in Sydney. Everyone loved the quirky decoration of each rooms - that included bright retro style furniture and the latest in technology - including a voice-activated system of all the rooms functions in the ACDC tribute room. We were lucky to receive a gift of the Biology brand skincare from our hosts, which is included in all the guests bathrooms.
