Goodbye to Kim

One of our favourite locals Kim Restaurant in Llankelly Place sadly closed over the weekend after 2.5 years of attentive service. The chief mission of David Ralph & co-owner TK was to introduce beautiful, contemporary Korean food to Sydneysiders. Their presentation of innovative dishes and their best in hip hop playlist will be missed!

We certainly enjoyed our fill of fabulous, rich dishes whilst on various private dining walks and as part of our Llankelly Laneway events forGood Food Month, Kings Cross Festival and Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. The guys were always supportive of our ventures and lovely to work with on events. We thank them for their support and wish them well on their new culinary adventures.

A new proprietor has taken on the lease of the space and will be focusing on a contemporary Australian menu. Stand-by for details soon.

Two weeks until Mardi Gras Event!

Check out our poster for this year's Sydney Mardi Gras dining walks! Thanks to the wonders of CANVA our graphics are looking very snazzy these days. With less than two weeks to go we still have tickets available for both walks. So hop on here to book your crew and join the fun!

Big thanks to all our participating restaurants who have been posting our event images over the weekend. We are looking forward to two fabulous evenings introducing locals and visitors alike to the vibrant inner city Sydney food scene.

Sydney Mardi Gras Events Announced

We are thrilled to announce our third Dining Walk event as part of the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival programme in February 2016! Let The Sydney Connection take you on a guided dining walk of four of the best small bars & restaurants Surry Hills and Darlinghurst have to offer on each walk.

This is a great chance for Sydney Mardi Gras Festival visitors to meet the locals. And for the locals to discover their own city from a different perspective whilst meeting some new people. Showcasing Sydney’s fabulous multi-cultural cuisine, natural hospitality and rich queer history and culture along the way.
