Airbnb Experience Host Meetup

Airbnb_Hosts_01.jpg

We really enjoyed meeting our fellow hosts at the Sydney Airbnb Experience Host event last month at Jack & Knife on Stanley Street in East Sydney on a sticky Monday night.

We met some lovely people with very innovative Experience ideas including Iconic Ocean Pools Sydney, Wine & Dine in a Frenchman's Home, Marrickville Culture Walk . We also learnt a few tricks from Sean of Hunter Valley Wine, Cheese & Kangaroos. He has a super impressive 260 reviews on the site!

You can find his tour here.

A number of the hosts are now taking each other out on their Experiences, so we know what to recommend confidently to our guests, should they seek recommendations for the rest of their stay in Sydney.

Thanks to the organisers, we are looking forward to the next one.

Crafty Dining - it's a wrap!

There is something very magical and special about being in a store at night. Like all the merchandise might come alive at any second! That's how it felt on our recent Crafty Dining in Redfern with 19 guests crammed into each of the Redfern design & fashion stores.

Thank you so much to all the stores, restaurants and bars who took part. And our guests who were so enthusiastic and attentive all night, it was great to meet you.

Thanks also to Sydney Craft Week and Good Food Month for having us as part of your respective festival programmes.

And now for summer!

Introducing Paperbird

Paperbird's famous Korean Fried

We are thrilled to announce that Paperbird are now part of our Potts Point Dining Walk tour route. The savvy green dining room will be hosting us for entrees or mains. Looking forward to introducing our guests to some of best Modern Korean in town.

Expect beautiful textures and rich flavours in the form of acorn flour noodles with black truffle and enoki. Eggplant with black pepper, dried scallop & cashew, Bibimbap: braised beef cheek with black bean, rice, nori, egg yolk & kohlrabi kimchi or shrimp brined fried chicken, soy & syrup served with rice and miso soup. Perfect winter fare.
